At Colebrook Infant Academy, we are committed to identifying and supporting the young carers within our school community. Young carers are children who help look after a family member who has an illness, disability, mental health condition, or extra care needs.
We are incredibly proud to have achieved both the Young Carers School Award and the Young Carers Ambassador Award in recognition of our dedicated work and pastoral care in this area. We ensure our young carers have a safe, nurturing space at school where they can thrive both academically and emotionally.
